The Round 4 car racing event at the Mandalika Circuit will be held in December 2024

Mandalika Grand Prix Association (MGPA) stated that the Mandalika Festival of Speed (MFoS) round 4 National Car Racing Championship at Pertamina Mandalika Circuit, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) was held in early December 2024.

“The MFOs round 3 event has been successfully held at the Mandalika Circuit, November 1-3 and round 4 of the event will be held in December 2024,” said MGPA President Director Priandhi Satria in Central Lombok, Monday.

He said the car racing event has successfully amazed tens of thousands of automotive lovers in the country, be it spectators who watched this event directly on the Mandalika circuit or through live streaming.

The National Car Racing Championship has its own charm with the presence of top-class car races such as the Forsche Sprint Challenge, BMW M2 and Time Attck in which there are radical and mixed classes.

“It makes automotive lovers interested to watch it,” he said.

He said the national car racing event at the Mandalika Circuit will be held starting in August 2024 and for the fourth round, which will be the last series of MFoS, it will be held in the first week from 6 to 8 December 2024.

“Of course, with the same concept, which is free without ticket fees,” he said.

Mandiri Mandalika Festival of Speed will be held four times in 2024, in 2025 it will also be held four times, but the type of race is planned to be added.

β€œIn 2025, we have agreed on four rounds like this year, but we will add race categories, hopefully the participants will also increase,” he said

This event is believed to have a good impact on the Mandalika Circuit and Indonesia, especially NTB, because it can invite people from various circles, both regional, outside the region and even abroad.

“Those present at this event are not only local people, many from outside the region and some are from abroad,” he said.

The following are the results of the final race of the MFOs round 3 in 2024, including the Porsche Sprint Challenge National Race Class, Moreno Soeprapto came out as the winner, followed by Aldio Oekon as the second winner, while Hendrik Jaya Soewatdy was only able to finish in third position.

While the last series of the 2nd race of the BMW M2 racing class at the Mandiri Mandalika Festival of Speed (MFOS) round 3, Takuma from Suade Motorsport team came out as the first winner, followed by Dicko Prasetyo from Risqi Motorsport as the second winner, then Michael from Dplus Racing team managed to finish in 3rd position.

Finally, the time attack class, three local racers managed to improve the performance of the previous MFoS, the record time achieved was increased, Edi Sopyan experienced an increase of 2.5 seconds from the previous 1:56.130 seconds, to 1:54.134 in this MFOs round 3.

Not only Edi, Firman also increased approximately 4.5 seconds from the previous 1:58.322, to 1:53.604 seconds. While the other local hero Viktal Farid also managed to change the achievement of approximately 3 seconds from the previous 2:12.962 seconds, to 2:09.682 seconds.
