Still in mainland Latin America, the 21st round of Formula 1 this season will switch to the Interlagos circuit, Brazil for the Sao Paulo Grand Prix which rolls from Friday (1/11) to Monday (4/11) WIB.
Interlagos hosted Formula 1 for the first time in 1973. The circuit is named after Brazilian racing driver Jose Carlos Pace, who won Formula 1 in 1975 and died two years later.
Besides being famous for its challenging turns, this circuit is also popular because fans in Brazil are very enthusiastic about car racing.
Lewis Hamilton is one of the most popular drivers among fans in Brazil for his historic victories in 2016, 2018 and 2021.
In addition, the Brazilian fans also consider Hamilton as a driver who inspires many people, considering he is the only black driver on the grid.

The race for the world title this season has become quite exciting because the margin of points between leaders Max Verstappen and Lando Norris (McLaren) is getting thinner.
Norris revives his championship chances after finishing second in the Mexican GP, one week earlier.
After Verstappen lost in the United States, Norris cut the gap to 10 points. Now, the points are 315 points or 47 points below the defending champions at the top of the table with four races to go.
In the constructors ‘ standings, McLaren still tops the standings with 566 points, while Ferrari is in second place with 537 points and Red Bull is third with 512 points.
Meanwhile, the Sao Paulo GP series in Brazil will begin on Friday (1/11) with the first practice session at 21.30 WIB. On Saturday (2/11) there was a sprint qualifying session and a Sprint race which rolled at 01.30 WIB and 21.00 WIB, respectively.
Furthermore, on Sunday (3/11) at 01.00 WIB a qualifying session will be held. Meanwhile, the main race starts on Monday (4/11) at 00.00 WIB.
